Terms

Terms of sale and licence

Effective date: 9 November 2026

1. Who sells the app

Xogogy is sold by GForce Learning Corp, a Utah corporation ("we", "us"), which also owns and runs ReviewMyElearning.

Contact: support@xogogy.com

2. Who may buy

Businesses and individual consumers may buy Xogogy. You must be 18 or older, or the age of majority where you live if that is higher.

A licence may be held by a person or by an organisation. If you buy for a company or another organisation, you confirm you may accept these terms for it, and its device activations may be used by different people within that organisation.

3. What you buy

  • A perpetual licence to use the major version of Xogogy you bought, for a one-time payment of $299 (US dollars). The app keeps working on that version for as long as you use it.
  • Every update to that major version. Every update we release for the major version you bought (for Xogogy 1, every 1.x release) is included, for as long as you use it. There is no update period and no maintenance fee.
  • Up to 2 computers at a time. Activating the licence on a computer uses one of its 2 device slots. Deactivate a computer in the app to free its slot, or write to support if that computer is gone.
  • New major versions are an optional upgrade. An upgrade to the next major version (for example Xogogy 1 to Xogogy 2) costs $149. If you bought your licence in the 6 months before a new major version's release date, that version is free. If you never upgrade, your licence stays perpetual and the app keeps working on the version you have.

4. What is free, and what needs a licence

Without a licence you can import a course, play it in Preview, read the full import report, edit it, and export your own course data (your course file, its media and the report, as readable files). Exporting your course data stays free before, during and after any licence.

A licence is needed to publish or export a package a learner would open (SCORM, xAPI, cmi5 or web), by every route the app offers: the Publish dialog and the command line.

5. Activation and licence checks

  • Activating a licence is one online step: the app sends your licence key and a hashed identifier of the computer to our licence service, which returns a signed licence file for that computer. The privacy policy lists exactly what is sent.
  • When you start a publish or export in the app, press Check installed licence, or run a publish from the command line, Xogogy asks our licence service once whether the licence is still valid. If the service cannot be reached, the publish goes ahead on the licence file already on your computer.
  • Xogogy makes no other licence check. It does not check at start-up, on other commands or in the background.

6. Payment and taxes

Payment is taken by Stripe on Stripe's own checkout page. We never see or store your card number. Your licence key is emailed to the address you give at checkout.

Prices are in US dollars and exclude sales tax, VAT and GST. Where we are required to collect tax, it is added and shown at checkout before you pay. Stripe emails you a receipt. For an invoice, write to support@xogogy.com.

7. Refunds, disputes and revoked licences

Refunds are covered by our refund policy.

When a payment is refunded, disputed (a chargeback) or cancelled, the licence is revoked and every computer activated with it is deactivated. The next time an activated computer starts a publish or export while online, in the app or from the command line, Xogogy refuses it and removes the licence file. You agree to stop publishing with a revoked licence on every route, including while offline.

Packages you published before the licence was revoked keep playing for your learners (section 9).

8. Your courses are yours

  • You own your work. Everything you import, make and publish with Xogogy belongs to you. We claim no rights in your courses, their text or their media.
  • We do not see your courses. Xogogy runs on your computer and does not upload your courses. A course leaves your computer only when you send it: by publishing to ReviewMyElearning, or by ticking "Attach the original course file" in a problem report (see the privacy policy). We use an attached course file only to look into that report.
  • Your files stay usable without us. A project is an ordinary folder of files on your disk, in an open, documented format. You can keep, read, copy and back it up without the app, and exporting your course data is always free.
  • Your published courses never depend on us. A published package contains our player, your course and its own media. It does not contact us and does not need our services to play.
  • You are responsible for having the right to import, change and publish the courses you work on.

9. The player inside your published packages

Learners may play a package you published while licensed, on any system, with no time limit. This stays true after a new major version ships and after a refund. You may host, copy and give that package to your learners wherever you like.

10. AI agents

The app contains no AI model and never contacts one. It includes a command line and a local server that let an AI agent you choose (for example Claude Desktop or Claude Code) read and change a course on your computer. They talk to the app only on your computer, with no network port. What your agent sends to its own provider, and what it does to your course, is between you and that provider. Every agent change is labelled in the course history and can be undone.

11. What you may not do

  • Share a licence key beyond its device limit.
  • Sell, rent or transfer a licence without our written agreement.
  • Remove, disable or get around the licence checks.

To transfer a licence to another person or organisation, write to support@xogogy.com. A short email is all it takes, and we confirm the transfer in writing.

12. The free year of ReviewMyElearning Basic

  • Each new licence comes with a single-use code for one year of ReviewMyElearning's Basic plan, sent in the licence email.
  • Your ReviewMyElearning account is governed by ReviewMyElearning's own terms.
  • If you already subscribe to ReviewMyElearning, the code cannot be used at checkout. Reply to the licence email or write to support and we add a year of Basic's value to your ReviewMyElearning account as credit.
  • If the licence is refunded or disputed, an unused code is cancelled. If the code was used, the free Basic subscription it started is cancelled.

13. Early access builds

Early access builds are provided for testing, as they are, with no warranty, and stop publishing on the date shown in the app and on the early access page. Importing, editing, Preview, the report and exporting your course data keep working after that date.

14. Warranty

Xogogy is provided as it is. We do not promise that every course imports or publishes without differences from the original. The import report lists every difference the app detects.

15. Limit of liability

To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss.

16. Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Utah, USA. Disputes are heard in the courts in Salt Lake City, Utah. Either of us may instead bring a claim in a small-claims court that can hear it.

There is no forced arbitration and no class-action waiver. If you are a consumer, nothing in these terms takes away the protections the law where you live gives you.

17. Changes to these terms

If we change these terms, the new terms apply to purchases made after they are posted here. The terms you bought under keep applying to your licence.
