Getting started
Find your way around the editor, open the sample course, and start, save and reopen your projects.
Importing
Bring in Storyline and Captivate projects, published packages, Rise courses and PowerPoint slides, then read what came across.
Editing slides and objects
Add and arrange slides and sections, place images, shapes, media and widgets, and format what is on the slide.
Text and variables
Edit and format text, find and replace across the course, and create, rename and show variables.
Interactions and triggers
Make things happen when the learner clicks, answers or reaches a point in the timeline.
Animations and timing
Animate objects, add slide transitions and narration, and control when each object appears with the timeline and cue points.
Layers and states
Build pop-ups and feedback with slide layers, and change how an object looks with states.
Questions and quizzes
Add and edit questions, import them in bulk, draw from question banks, and score the quiz.
Themes and design
Apply a design theme, set the colours and fonts, share a theme, and choose how new objects look.
Player settings
Set up the player around your slides: the menu, controls, colours, wording, captions, resources and glossary.
Preview, Play here and Open in browser
Play your course the way a learner will, from any slide, inside the app or in your web browser.
Publishing and ReviewMyElearning
Publish SCORM 1.2, SCORM 2004, xAPI, cmi5 and web packages, and send a course to ReviewMyElearning for comments.
Custom interactions and course JavaScript
Keep a course's own JavaScript, add custom HTML interactions, and decide what they may read and change.
AI assistants and the AI workspace
Connect the AI you already use (Claude, ChatGPT, Codex, Cursor or VS Code) and let it read and edit your course while you watch.
Licensing and installation
Install the app on Windows or Mac, activate and move your licence, and see what you can do for free.
Troubleshooting
Fixes for the common problems: a refused file, a blocked publish, missing completion, a silent assistant and lost work.
