How do I change the player's colours, font and wording?

In Design › Player, choose Follows theme or a palette under Colours & text, pick a font, rename buttons under Wording, and set text direction under Course.

The player can follow your course theme or have its own colours. Its button and panel labels can say anything you like, which is also how you translate it.

Choose the colours

  1. #

On the Design tab, choose Player, then open Colours & text.

  2. #

Under PLAYER COLOURS, choose Follows theme to leave the player to the course theme, or Light, Dark or Custom to override it. (When the course has no theme colours, the first choice reads Automatic and follows the learner's light or dark setting.)

  3. #

For Custom, pick a Background colour, a Text colour and an Accent colour for the current slide, focus and progress. Picking any of these switches the palette to Custom.

Choose the font and buttons

  1. #

Under TEXT AND BUTTONS, choose the Player font from the font list. Click the arrow or type to narrow it; each name is shown in its own typeface.

  2. #

Choose the Button style: Standard, Filled, Outline or Pill.

Change the wording

  1. #

    Open Wording.

  2. #

Type your own words in any box, such as Next label set to Continue. Leave a box empty to keep the player's own wording.

Set the text direction

  1. #

    Open Course.

  2. #

Set Text direction to Left to right or Right to left (Arabic, Hebrew…). Right to left mirrors the player, so the sidebar and the Next button swap sides.

Choose Apply changes to keep everything, or Discard to throw it away.

Tip: The player keeps its text readable. If two custom colours are too close, it adjusts the shade it paints.
