How do I choose which player buttons learners see?

In Player properties › Controls, set the player bar and each button, such as Next, Submit or Playback speed, to Auto, On or Off.

The player bar holds the buttons under (or above) the slide. You choose which buttons appear.

Set the buttons

  1. #

On the Design tab, choose Player, then open Controls.

  2. #

Set Player bar position to Auto, Bottom or Top.

  3. #

Set Player bar to Auto, On or Off.

  4. #

Set each control to Auto, On or Off:

    • Previous button and Next button
    • Submit button
    • Play and pause, Replay button and Seek bar
    • Volume and Captions button
    • Playback speed, a 0.5× to 2× menu that slows down or speeds up the slide with its sound and video
    • Menu button, Full screen and Button tooltips
  5. #

Turn on Hide the player bar during a quiz to hide the bar while a quiz is running.

  6. #

Watch the Live preview, then choose Apply changes.

Tip: Auto lets the player decide. Play, Volume, Submit and similar buttons then appear only on slides that need them. Auto is not the same as Off.

If you collapse the sidebar at the start and turn off the Menu button, learners cannot open the sidebar. Xogogy warns you when that happens.
