AI assistants and the AI workspace
Connect the AI you already use (Claude, ChatGPT, Codex, Cursor or VS Code) and let it read and edit your course while you watch.
How do I create the AI workspace?
Choose Help › Connect an assistant, then Create AI workspace. Open the new folder in your AI app as a local workspace and approve the xogogy server.
How do I connect Claude Desktop?
In Settings › Connect an assistant, choose Claude Desktop, then Install the Claude Desktop extension and pick your projects folder.
How do I connect Claude Code?
Create the AI workspace, start a Claude Code session in that folder, and approve the xogogy server when Claude asks.
How do I connect ChatGPT or Codex?
Create the AI workspace, open it in Codex in the ChatGPT desktop app (or run codex in it), trust the folder and approve the tools.
How do I connect Cursor or VS Code with GitHub Copilot?
Create the AI workspace, open that folder in Cursor or VS Code, and turn on the xogogy server when the app asks.
How do I let an assistant edit the course I have open?
Turn on Allow assistants to connect in Settings, then choose Allow for this session when your assistant first asks. Its changes appear as they happen.
How do I undo a change my assistant made?
Choose Undo all on the activity card to take back a whole run, or Undo <assistant>'s last change from the arrow beside Undo (Ctrl+Alt+Z) for the latest change. Edit history lists every change.
How do I follow my assistant's work on the activity card?
While your assistant changes the open course, a card in the bottom-right corner counts its changes and then sums them up. Undo all takes back the whole run, and Show changes opens Edit history.
How do I ask my AI assistant to work on a course?
Ask in course terms: add a lesson, insert images on a slide, fix wording, build a quiz, check alt text. It works through Xogogy's own tools.
