Every change an assistant makes is one labelled step you can take back. You never have to unpick it by hand.
Undo the whole run
- #
While your assistant works, an activity card in the bottom-right corner counts its changes. When it stops, the card sums them up, for example Codex made 23 changes on 4 slides.
- #
Choose Undo all on the card. Every change in the run is undone in one go.
- #
If someone else changed the course after the run started, Undo all is off and the card says why. Choose Show changes to undo step by step in Edit history instead. See How do I follow my assistant's work on the activity card?.
Before you undo, look over what changed: each slide the run changed has a small dot on its thumbnail in the Slides panel until you visit it. See How do I follow my assistant's work on the activity card?.
Undo only the assistant's latest change
- #
Open the Undo options arrow beside Undo in the header and choose Undo <assistant>'s last change, which names your assistant. Or press Ctrl+Alt+Z.
- #
If you edited something after the assistant did, undo your own edit first with Ctrl+Z. Xogogy tells you which change is in the way.
See every change
- #
Open the Undo options arrow beside Undo and choose Edit history. It is also in File.
- #
Each row shows who made the change, what it was, when, and whether it is Active or Undone. Assistant changes are marked Assistant.
- #
Choose View on a row to jump to what it changed.
Tip: Undoing marks the course as changed. Choose Save to keep the undo, as with any other edit.
You can also ask your assistant to undo its own last change; it uses the same rules.
An assistant cannot change the text you are typing in while you type: that change is refused, and changes to other objects wait until you finish. See when you and an assistant edit at the same time.
