For Claude Desktop chats, Xogogy comes with a Claude Desktop extension. Installing it takes a minute and lets Claude read and edit your courses.
Install the extension
- #
In Xogogy, choose File › Options › Settings and go to Connect an assistant. (Or choose Other ways to connect in the AI workspace window.)
- #
Check Your projects folder. Claude may open saved courses in this folder when Xogogy is closed.
- #
Choose Claude Desktop, then Install the Claude Desktop extension. Claude Desktop opens and shows the Xogogy extension.
- #
Choose Install in Claude and follow its prompts.
- #
When Claude asks for Allowed Course Project Folders, choose your projects folder.
If Claude does not open
- #
In Claude Desktop, open Settings, then Desktop app, then Manage next to Extensions.
- #
Choose Advanced settings, then Install Extension….
- #
Pick the file
xogogy.mcpb. Xogogy shows its full path in Connect an assistant.
Tip: Using Claude Code instead of Claude chats? The AI workspace is quicker: see How do I connect Claude Code?.
Then open a course in Xogogy and ask Claude, for example, "Show me the outline of the course open in Xogogy."
