How do I install Xogogy on a Mac?

Xogogy runs on Macs with Apple silicon. Open the .dmg, drag Xogogy to Applications and open it. It is signed and notarised by Apple: no security workaround.

Xogogy runs on Macs with Apple silicon (M1, M2, M3, M4 and later). It does not run on Intel Macs.

Check your Mac

    Choose Apple menu › About This Mac.

    The Chip line must say Apple M….

Install the app

    Download the Mac build from xogogy.com/download/mac. Your browser saves a .dmg disk image.

    Double-click the .dmg, then drag Xogogy into the Applications folder. Eject the disk image afterwards.

    Double-click Xogogy in Applications. macOS checks the app with Apple and asks whether you want to open an app downloaded from the internet. Choose Open.

    From now on, Xogogy opens normally.

Xogogy is signed with our Apple Developer ID and notarised by Apple, so there is nothing to change in Privacy & Security.

Check and remove

    Choose Help › About Xogogy to see your build details.

    To remove the app, quit it and drag it from Applications to the Bin. Your projects stay where you saved them.

  • How do I install Xogogy on Windows?Download the setup file. If Edge says it "isn't commonly downloaded", choose Keep, and Keep anyway if Edge asks again. If Windows shows "Windows protected your PC", choose More info, then Run anyway.
  • How do I activate my licence?Choose Help › Licence, paste your key into Enter licence key, then choose Activate licence. Activation is the one time the app goes online for it.
  • How do I keep publishing after early access ends?Early-access builds publish without a licence until December 23, 2026. After that, activate a licence or install a newer build; your courses stay open.
