A custom interaction is a small piece of HTML and JavaScript that sits on a slide, such as a game, a calculator or a drag-and-drop activity. Your own AI assistant can build one for you and place it on the slide, and it can read and set course variables you allow.
Have your assistant build it
- #
Connect your assistant. See How do I create the AI workspace?.
- #
Open the course in Xogogy and go to the slide.
- #
Describe what you want in plain words, for example: "On this slide, add a custom interaction where the learner drags three items into the right order. When they get it right, set the variable OrderCorrect to true."
- #
Your assistant builds the interaction and places it on the slide. It appears with a note naming the assistant, and you can undo it in one step.
Decide what it may read and change
- #
Choose Course settings › Advanced and open What outside interactions may do.
- #
For each variable the interaction uses, choose Read, Write or both. See How do I control what outside interactions may do?.
Try it
- #
Choose Play here on the interaction to run it in place. See How do I try a custom interaction with Play here?.
- #
Choose Preview to try it with the rest of the slide and check that the variable changes in Live variables.
Tip: The interaction runs in a sealed frame with no network access, so it can only use the variables you allowed.
