When something looks wrong, such as an imported slide that does not match the original or a command that fails, send a report to GForce Learning's support team from inside Xogogy. You see everything that goes with the report, and nothing is sent until you choose Send. You do not need a licence to send one.
Send a report
- #
Choose Report a problem… in the Help group on the ribbon. You can also right-click an object on the stage and choose Report a problem…, or choose Report a problem… in the import report.
- #
Xogogy takes a screenshot of the editor window before the dialog opens, so the dialog itself is not in it.
- #
In What's wrong?, say what you did, what you expected and what happened instead.
- #
Read Sent with your report. It lists the app version, your operating system, the course title and source format, the slide you are on, the object you selected with its import report entries, and a count of the course's import report entries. It holds no file paths.
- #
Look at the screenshot. Untick Include this screenshot if it shows something you do not want to send.
- #
For an import problem, tick Attach the original course file (deleted after 30 days) and choose the
.story,.cptx,.cptor published.zipfile, up to 200 MB. The box starts unticked. - #
Choose Send. The dialog shows a reference such as
fb_…. Quote it if you write to us about the same problem.
If sending fails
- #
When you are offline, or have sent many reports in a short time, the dialog says so and offers Save report….
- #
Choose Save report… and save the zip. It holds your note, the details and the screenshot, never the course file.
- #
Email the zip to support@xogogy.com.
Tip: Cancel or Escape closes the dialog and forgets the screenshot and any course file you chose.
On a Mac no screenshot is taken yet; the dialog says so and sends the report without one. To write to us instead, see send feedback or get help.
Still stuck?
Write to support@xogogy.com. A person at GForce Learning reads every message. Include the app version from Help › About Xogogy.
