How do I use Xogogy without a licence?

Importing, the import report, editing, Preview, saving and exporting your own course data are free. Only publishing a package needs a licence.

You can try Xogogy on your real courses before you buy. The free version is not a time-limited trial; it simply does not publish.

Try it on your own course, free

  1. #

    Install Xogogy and choose Import course… on the start screen.

  2. #

    Read the import report: select the findings count in the header.

  3. #

    Edit the course as much as you like, and choose Save.

  4. #

    Choose Preview to play it.

Tip: You are never locked out of your own courses. Without a licence, every project still opens, edits and exports its data.

  • How do I activate my licence?Choose Help › Licence, paste your key into Enter licence key, then choose Activate licence. Activation is the one time the app goes online for it.
  • How do I import a Storyline project?Choose Import course…, pick your .story file, check the title and where the new course folder goes, then choose Import.
  • How do I preview my course?Choose Preview at the right of the ribbon tab row to play the whole course, or open Preview options to start from this slide, this section or one slide.
  • How do I export my course data?Choose File › Export course data… and pick a new, empty folder. You get readable files for every slide, variable, interaction and answer key.
