Interactions on the same event run from top to bottom, so their order matters. Xogogy reads the interactions on each slide and warns when the order makes them misbehave: two that undo each other on the same click, a chain that runs every step at once, a condition the interaction above has already made false, a jump that stops the interactions after it, and an exact copy.
Read the warning
- #
Open the slide and the Inspector's Interactions tab. Each interaction involved shows a short line under its actions. Mistake lines use the warning colour; Check this and Tidy lines are quieter.
- #
A collapsed group says how many warnings it holds. Choose Show to open it.
- #
Choose Show me why to see what happens step by step, for example Trigger 1 sets showBox to True, then Trigger 2 sets showBox to False. Choose Hide why to close it.
Fix it
- #
When Xogogy has a safe fix, a button names it: Combine into one toggle, Combine into one trigger with Else, Reverse their order, Move up, Move the jump to the end, Move the write to the end or Delete the copy. The line under the button says what happens afterwards.
- #
Choose the button. The fix is one step in the history.
- #
Choose Preview to check the slide behaves as you expect. Press Ctrl+Z to undo the whole fix; the warning comes back.
A fix button appears only when Xogogy has checked that the fix removes the warning without causing a new one or dropping anything it could not read from the original course. With no button, change the order or the conditions yourself; see edit and reorder interactions.
Leave it as it is
- #
Choose Ignore to hide the warning on that interaction. Ignoring changes nothing in the course.
- #
Ignored warnings come back the next time you open Xogogy.
Tip: To see every warning in the course at once, open the import report and read Triggers to check. Your assistant can check and fix them too, with the check_triggers, fix_trigger_finding and reorder_trigger tools.
Warnings are worked out again after every change, undo and redo, and they are never saved into the course. They follow Xogogy's own player rules, so treat Check this as a prompt to preview the slide.
