While you work in a saved project, Xogogy keeps a separate recovery copy of your unsaved changes a second after you stop typing. If the app or your computer stops before you save, you can get those changes back.
Restore your changes
- #
Start Xogogy. If it shows Recover work from an earlier session, choose Restore unsaved changes… and select the same course in the dialog: its
.xogogyfile (.coursefor a course saved by an older version), orcourse.ccf.jsonfor a project saved before course files. Otherwise, reopen the course with Open project. - #
The Unsaved changes found dialog shows when the changes were made and how many there are.
- #
Choose Restore unsaved changes. Xogogy checks them and puts them back.
- #
The changes are still unsaved: press Ctrl+S to keep them.
Other choices
- Discard unsaved changes throws the recovery copy away and leaves your saved course exactly as it was.
- Keep changes for later keeps the recovery copy and opens the course read-only, so you can decide next time you open it.
- Keep reminders for later hides the reminder for this session.
Tip: Recovery works for courses saved to a folder. A course held only in memory, such as the sample before its first save, cannot be recovered after the app closes, so save new work early.
The recovery copy never replaces Save. Save often, and before you close the app.
